Ruthenium-Catalyzed [3 + 2] Cycloaddition of 2H-Azirines with Alkynes: Access to Polysubstituted Pyrroles.
A ruthenium-catalyzed intermolecular [3 + 2] cycloaddition of 2H-azirines and activated alkynes is reported, which provides polysubstituted pyrroles in moderate to good yields. This approach features a C-N bond cleavage of 2H-azirines by a ruthenium catalyst. The results of this study would provide a complementary method to synthesize polysubstituted pyrroles from the known 2H-azirine approache...
متن کاملCu(II)-catalyzed domino reaction of 2H-azirines with diazotetramic and diazotetronic acids. Synthesis of 2-substituted 2H-1,2,3-triazoles.
The Cu(II)-catalyzed addition of two molecules of a 3-aryl-2H-azirine to diazotetramic or diazotetronic acids proceeds as a domino reaction with the formation of 1,2,3-triazole derivatives with ortho-fused (pyrrolo[3,4-b]pyrrol or furo[3,4-b]pyrrol) and spiro-cyclic (1-oxa-4,7-diazaspiro[4.4]nonane or 1,7-dioxa-4-azaspiro[4.4]nonane) substituents at the N2 position. The disclosed reaction is a ...
متن کاملBaker’s yeast catalyzed Henry reaction: Biocatalytic C-C bond formation
The C-C bond formation is an important reaction in organic synthesis to obtain value-added intermediates. Therefore, in this paper an attempt has been made to accelerate the Henry reaction (C-C bond formation) between aryl aldehydes and nitromethane using less expensive whole cell biocatalyst, baker’s yeast (BY). The scope of the methodology was also tested for the heteryl aldehyde i.e. 2-chlor...
متن کاملRhodium-catalyzed olefination of aryl tetrazoles via direct C-H bond activation.
Rh(III)-catalyzed direct olefination reaction via aromatic C-H bond activation is described using tetrazole as the directing group. This reaction provides a straightforward way for the synthesis of ortho-alkenyl aryl tetrazoles. Various functional groups tolerate the reaction conditions and afford the corresponding products in moderate to excellent yields.
متن کاملAryl-aryl bond formation by transition-metal-catalyzed direct arylation.
The biaryl structural motif is a predominant feature in many pharmaceutically relevant and biologically active compounds. As a result, for over a century1 organic chemists have sought to develop new and more efficient aryl-aryl bond-forming methods. Although there exist a variety of routes for the construction of aryl-aryl bonds, arguably the most common method is through the use of transition-...
